August means summer, joy and the desire to party! For Anna’s 60th birthday we wanted to create a playful and colourful event choosing Sicily as the theme: lemons, jasmine, flowers, colours and majolica enriched the setting of the private party and marked the dress code for all the guests!
Every single detail was thought out and personalized, from the invitation to the cake, to align it with the theme Sicilia Bedda!
We created a corner in the middle of the greenery, under the Linden tree, enriched by the atmosphere of the suspended lights, with a wooden trolley, where lemon-flavoured water was served and a vintage wheelbarrow full of fresh organic lemonades with Sicilian lemons for quenching guests’ thirst.
The same corner then became the set for cutting the cake, a creation that left us speechless, made entirely by hand by Pasticceria Pinel, with fresh lemons and real leaves for decoration.
All the decorations were taken care of, from the design to the implementation, by the internal Villa Giulia team. The buffet was made by Cafè Giardino, with a table set with delicious dishes and decorated with lemons, yellow candles and lace to stay with the theme of the party.
To capture the memories of the day, the photo corner was a must, a room with a beautiful number 60 made by hand with real leaves and lemons as the backdrop for wonderful photo memories.
The party was animated by the DJ set to ensure the entertainment of the guests including buffets, games and gifts!
